How we work

Five rounds. One finish.

A boxer prepares for months for a few rounds in the ring. We bring the same thinking to every job: most of the work happens before the first coat goes on.

Round 01

Survey

We visit, measure and photograph the space, check substrates and existing coatings, and — most importantly — learn how the building is used day to day: opening hours, deliveries, footfall, who needs access and when.

  • Measured survey and condition notes
  • Access and logistics review
  • Colour and finish recommendations
Round 02

Plan

You get an itemised quotation and a real programme: zones, sequence, crew size and working hours. For larger jobs we agree a phasing plan with your site lead before anything is booked.

  • Itemised, comparable quotation
  • Programme and phasing plan
  • Site-specific RAMS and COSHH
Round 03

Protect

Before a tin is opened, floors, furniture, IT, fixtures and fittings are covered. In occupied buildings we set up clear, safe working zones with barriers and signage.

  • Full floor and furniture protection
  • Safe zones in live buildings
  • Daily clean-down
Round 04

Paint

Proper preparation — filling, sanding, cleaning, priming — then the specified system applied by experienced decorators. Your point of contact reports progress daily.

  • Preparation to manufacturer spec
  • Right system for each surface
  • Daily progress updates
Round 05

Hand over

We walk the finished area with you, snag it, fix anything that isn't right, and hand it back clean. Then we stay available for aftercare.

  • Joint snag walk-round
  • Touch-ups completed promptly
  • Aftercare when you need it
Health, safety & compliance

Paperwork ready before day one.

National clients and main contractors need a decorating partner who takes safety as seriously as they do. Every Olympian Decor job is backed by site-specific documentation and trained, inducted operatives.

  • Site-specific risk assessments and method statements
  • COSHH assessments and product data sheets
  • Public and employers' liability insurance
  • Trained access-equipment and MEWP operators
  • DBS-checked teams for education settings
  • Low-VOC and water-based products as standard
